With main arena covering an area of 300,000 M2, it is one of the largest stadiums with best facilities in Asia holding 80,012 audiences. The design of roof changed the traditional round style with a "Ribbon” style, which is the first one in China. Twenty-one bleachers with different colors look like petals; it looks like a kapok flower-city flower of Guangzhou when you see them as a whole.
