    Guangzhou governs ten districts, i.e. Yuexiu, Haizhu, Liwan, Tianhe, Baiyun, Huangpu, Huadu, Panyu, Nansha, Luogang, and two county-level cities, i.e., Conghua and Zengcheng, totaling an area of 7,434.4 KM2 with a registered population of 7.6072 million in 2006. the permanent residents are over 10 million.
