To more effectively meet the growing demands of the convention,the Organizing Committee (OC) of the 2008 ICSEMIS has decided to designate the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Centre as the convention venue and the Oriental International Convention Hotel (located inside the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Centre) as the only official hotel of the 2008 ICSEMIS.

This decision was made in response to the unexpected increase in the number of accepted abstracts and some limitations of the original venue and hotels. We have decided to take the opportunity to take advantage of the opportunity to relocate to the recently completed Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Centre (http://www.gzbicc.com/). This world class Convention Centre provides excellent facilities for presentation of the program and also incorporates a 5 star hotel. The Centre also provides an opportunity to integrate all aspects of the program to the benefit of delegates. Consequently, all aspects of the Convention will be conducted within the new centre and the Oriental International Convention Hotel will be the only officially designated hotel.

Costs for hotel stay will be subsidized at a most generous rate and all delegates are advised to take advantage of this excellent opportunity. Other advantages include close proximity to airport, excellent recreational environment and enhanced networking opportunities.

To take advantage of this outstanding opportunity you are required to register on the Convention's website www.icsemis2008.org. You are advised to do this at the earliest opportunity and prior to June 15th to take advantage of the lower early registration fee.

Delegates who have already registered online will have their booking status automatically transferred to the Oriental International Convention Hotel without incurring any further charges. Any excess accommodation fees incurred will be reimbursed on arrival at the Convention.
